Yoruba Youth, CSO congratulates Buratai on Brazilian National Honor

The National Committee of Yoruba Youth and the Civil Society Round table Against Terrorism, have congratulated the Nigeria Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Buratai, on the recent conferment of the Brazilian Military Order of Merit Award, on him by the Brazilian government.

In a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan on Tuesday, President of the group, Comrade Odeyemi Oladimeji described General Buratai as a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration for millions of patriots, across the country and in diaspora. He further commended the Army Chief, for being a strong believer in a United Nigeria, who has canvassed this in all his public engagements.

“We can testify to your firm commitment, and dedication to the promotion of peace, religious harmony and mutual co-existence, in our great country, as well as the generous disposition and liberality with which, you avail us, all your vast experience, your wise counsel, wisdom and sagacity” the statement read.

The group further said General Tukur Buratai has been able to achieve the numerous feat, because God has endowed him with a team building spirit, right organizational skill, and the right strategy to galvanise the Nigerian Army, beyond the traditional frontiers.

The group also appreciated the leadership, men and officers of the Nigerian Army, while encouraging them to remain steadfast, in the sustenance of the victory so far achieved against insurgency in the country, under the leadership of the Chief of Army Staff, General Buratai
